Biography: Phong Thanh Nguyen is an Assistant Professor and Director of Project Management Department at Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU). He received his Bachelor’s and Master degrees from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT). After that, he had been granted the scholarship by ASEAN University Network –Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network Project (AUN/SEED-Net) for his Ph.D. degree in Construction Engineering and Project Management at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and Kyoto Univesity, Japan. His teaching and research interests are project management, construction, and engineering economy, decision science, machine learning, decision support system (DSS), quantitative analysis for management, risk management and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
