Biography: Yun-Huoy Choo is currently working as an associate professor at the Faculty of ICT, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia. She graduated with Bachelor degree of Science and Computer with Education majoring in Mathematics in the year 2000 from the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. She pursued her studies in the same university and completed her Master degree in Information Technology in year 2002. After working for two years as a lecturer in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). She was sponsored by the Malaysian government to pursue her PhD degree. In 2008, she was awarded the PhD in System Management and Science from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) specialising in Data Mining. Her research interest involves the fundamental studies of rough set theory, fuzzy sets theory, association rules mining, and feature selection, besides the application of data science and data mining in different domains including person authentication using bio signal, muscle endurance analysis, machine OEE analysis, personalised itinerary and route planning, etc.
